Blogging after a month

If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Feel free to leave comments and questions too. Thanks for visiting!
My first article is dated 24 February 2007..ok, it’s not a whole month, but I’d like to speak about it and I didn’t know how to call this post.
Awstats says that I had 92 unique visitors for the month of march, while Google Analytics says more than 300. Both says that most of my reader are new visitors; the small percentage who comes here more than once is mainly me with different IPs and some other blogger who even commented.
Until now I had 3 comments from three different site owners:
UntwistedVortex
Home Business Today
Paula Mooney
My pet project, My Visitors list doesn’t have much luck.Until now I have just two user registered and they haven’t installed my script yet.Without some moral support I find it difficult to go on with this project. I know that people don’t like it because it’s still an alpha project, but it’s really hard to go on without a simple “hey, good job!”. I am planning to add a “community” page so people can give me their own AdSense ID. This way they could probably use my script a bit more just hoping that traffic to it will get them some money. I am even offering links on my main page for them..I know, I don’t have a lot of traffic on it, but when there will be traffic, you already have your link there! :-)
One thing I could do to get more people read my blog AND to find good material to write about, is to write articles about other people’s blog post. I did that with my Firefox Network Pipelining post, which was a research I did after reading John Chow’s post about a trick with Firefox. Aaron Cook left a comment on my post and that made me very happy.
Btw..I’ve checked today my AdSense account, and in less than 30 days I earned almost 1 dollar!

Hi, maurizio!
Just wanted to say… good job!
I was one of the people who asked for more information about your ‘My Visitors list’ project through digitalpoint forum.
And from what I see, it’s not bad – I haven’t tested it but it’s a good idea — it’s just not what I need at the moment so that’s why I haven’t registered yet. But when I do feel I could use something like this at my own website, I’ll know where to look.
So keep it up, your time will come! To start something, always IS difficult and rewards don’t always come fast – but you’re doing something and that’s the best way I know that can get you anywhere ;)
