JohnChow.com shortest review explanation: create content
By maurizio | April 2, 2007
My latest post was an effort to get attention from John Chow. The goal of my post wasn’t to be on the list of blogs that point at him, my goal was to get my very own post on his blog :-). In order to gain attention/popularity/readers I should create something unique or at least more interesting that the usual stuff. That review was just my *first* attempt. The idea comes from a text of Marchel Achard. I don’t know him very well, but I liked very much that joke. I read the original form in italian; unfortunately I can’t find an english version on the net, so I’ll try to translate it. I had the shortest critique ever published. It says “Yesterday night at a theater it has been shown Domino. Why?” As you can see it’s easy to adapt to a website review.
I hope to make John Chow laugh enough to have my own blog post…and I hope you’ll learn that it’s not that difficult to write something “original” even by copying someone in another field.
