Blog Drive-bys

Here is my first blatant copy from someone else. Blog Drive By. I liked the idea of writing random thoughts about the sites I see everyday. As usual the simplest idea are always the better.
My first comments goes to the creator of “Drive-bys”, Richard. Well, maybe he’s not the creator, but I first saw them on his site, Untwistedvortex.
On his last post he’s asking to add him as a favorite on Technorati. He continue saying that he want to do that to help everyone on his community. If you help or link him, he’ll give that link-love back. I do trust him. He’s one of my best readers and he continue to link me. Sometimes I think that I should stop this blog and just send him (and Paula) emails instead. :-)
Carlocab is the second blog I want to write about. No, it’s not a blog about “Carlo the cab driver”; it’s Carl Ocab’s blog. He’s a 14 year old boy from Philippines who kindly asked me to write a short review about it. His blog is mostly about how to make money online. He even asked me to use the anchor words “make money online“. I wonder if he want to beat John Chow on his own field. :-)
Anyway I like his posts, clear and simple; he’s even writing stuff I’d like to write about (He uses photoshop :( try Gimp instead! free as in beer..ehm..free as in coke (you are young))…sometimes I wonder if he’s really a 14 year old boy or it’s another 40yo fat guy who want to make cash.

I do read all blogs of my readers, so if you want me to post about your blog, just leave a comment on any post. I’d like to speak about pearl’s blog fresh perspectives for two reasons. First, because she
has a nice blog and second because she’s giving free publicity to Kumiko’s blog. And that’s wrong.It is wrong because Kumiko is a lied to all about him/herself. I’m not even sure if she is a she. Read here for more info.

this is funny :) first of all, thank you for mentioning my blog (for two reasons :)) and I like the first one you gave.. the second, well I believe we all need to help each other out in some fashion – my blog isn’t that popular so if I am able to send a few people to her, that isn’t gonna make or break her :) most of the promotion and traffic to her blog is her own hard work, isn’t it?

Pearl: Hi, thanks for commenting. I could have written more about your site, but when I saw that post I had to tell you about it.It’s not about your traffic or not..you see here that I’m struggling too. The thing I don’t like is how he/she used someone else’s face to get readers. It’s not like using J.Lo or some other famous face. He/she used someone else and fooled all of us. That’s shameful. IMHO. I wouldn’ say hard work..

See I feel differently here :) How are people fooled into going to her site? thinking its a ‘she’? and a beautiful one at that? :) well, then that is not her/his fault is it? if someone went there merely to look at her pictures and not her content, then of course they will be doomed to find its a he – but overall, even if its a he, i believe the site provides good entertainment.. :)
btw, I am glad I read your post about payperpost, and checked my email, they had approved me last week and I didnt even know.. I am having a bit of difficulty putting their parperpost direct picture .. will look into it more

Well..I remember when at the beginning, while posting at JohnChow.com she was playing with that. But anyway I think her post are good. It’s just that I don’t like people lying.
Let me know about PPP Direct. As I said on my post, I’ve added the small code before the end of the body, but I don’t see the OK picture yet.
Do you need my help?

oh – already has been a month since this post you made :) and wow – your site is looking better and better.. I have so much to catch up….
Oh I had signed up with PPP and added their codes etc, but then a couple of weeks later,they sent an email saying I was not accepted! So i knew i was moving to wordpress so did not pursue it.. but i will soon apply again and review your post…
