Comment Spam

Yesterday I haven’t posted. I don’t know if you have noticed though. :-)
My web-friend Paula (may I say that, Paula) pointed me to OneDayBlogSilence.com and asked me if I was doing that. I usually don’t like this kind of chain-letter thing. I think that’s better to organize a OneDayWeBlogAboutIt.com day instead. :-)
Anyway, she asked me about it and I couldn’t say no. Well..I was already busy yesterday, so it wasn’t a big problem.
Today instead, I am planning to work with my blog’ settings. Every day I receive at least 2 spam comments. The funny think is that most of them are on the same post. I could install a plugin that stop comment after some days, but I prefer to try the Akismet plugin first.
Speaking about comments, sometimes I’ve some doubts when I have to set if a comment is spam or not. For example HelloWorld wrote:
Peace People.
We love you.
And he doesn’t even have an URL on his nickname! Shadowman wrote:
Hi! How r u?
nice site!
This time the guy put an URL on his nick, which is pointing to a site devoted to a porn star.I haven’t deleted it, because he may be sincere, and no one could stop him to love/like a porn star (and the site is not obscene), so this time I’ll leave the link there.
What I don’t understand are the person who post comments with 10 links. They should know that links are “nofollow”-ed..
Anyway..it seems that people really love my small post about the beep in firefox search, which is not the most read post (who was the 1st president of us is still on top). I will publish some graph about it sooner or later.
