Network pipelining: the link bait :-)

I am browsing here and there while I’m waiting for a friend and sometimes I stumble on pages about how to make firefox faster with http network pipelining, and most of them continue to say that you can set pipelining to some value bigger than 8. That’s of course useless ( source code line 159).
So I thought, why not post here all the faulty articles?
