    PayPerPost Direct

If you are new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Feel free to leave comments and questions too. Thanks for visiting!

Whoo! I have been approved for PayPerPost and for PayPerPost Direct at the same time.
I like PayPerPost Direct. I haven’t used it yet, but I already know the philosophy behind it.It’s not that difficult. I will use it on my blog, so if someone wants me to write about his stuff, he has to contact me with PPP Direct and we will discuss about it. It works like ReviewMe, with the slight difference that ReviewMe takes 50% of the payment, while PPP Direct take just 10% (well..less than that because 5% goes to paypal/cc companies ..I hate that).
To use it on your blog you need to be accepted and then you just have to add a piece of code before the </body> html tag. I did that, but apparently it hasn’t been recognized yet. After that you should add a link or widget that shows that you accept direct review requests.

    PPP Direct

I think that we’ll hear a lot of people speaking about it, especially because of the 10% price. ReviewMe was the king before, but it will surely lose a lot of users because of his 50% fee. 10% is more reasonable, especially for low prices.Maybe it should lower it for prices above 100$. The reason is that they don’t have to actively support your site to make sales. You do them by yourself on your site. You and your advertisers need them to feel safe. They act as an escrow service.

I hope that using this service will help me to make money, or at least force me to improve my writing skills. :-)

I get paid to write about it. Hopefully I discovered it before writing it for free :-) Let me know if you don’t want me to write sponsored posts.

I applied for it too but haven’t heard anything yet.. do you mind sharing how long it took you to hear from them? I am still sort of rusty in how all of these things work so I’m taking my time to learn!

PayPerPost need that your blog is older than 90 days at least. The rest of the rules are reasonable (you should …post on your blog once in a while).

PayPerPost Direct should be faster though. I’m not 100% sure about it because they accepted me at the same time because my blog is just a bit more than 90 days old. I think you should wait at least a week for it. Read their forum or blog if you are unsure. boards.payperpost.com or was it board without s? :)
