Visitors Loyalty and Site goals
By maurizio | May 3, 2007

As you can see from that picture, my visitors are not that loyal. 18% of them are loyal, which means me and someone else (not every day, though). This is sad, but means that my content is not as good as I thought. No problem, I’m here to learn. The problem is that I have no idea what to write.
I am writing this blog to learn how to create good content AND teach to everyone who read this site. I am not a journalist, I am an engineer, so I prefer to create tools, rather than write content. That’s why my efforts are on that direction. I don’t want to write on how to make money online, there is already dozen of sites trying to explain it. What I’d like to do is to explain to the masses how to use technology to create tools and utilities for the web; this way everyone will learn how to use tools and know what to write about. It is not that easy to write about whatever you see happening, it is easier to write about something you just created.
Another good way to find interesting topics is to read a lot of sites and blogs. This way I wrote about the Firefox Network.Pipelining and then, inspired by that, I wrote about the beep in firefox search.
