Akismet Spam

I was worried because no one left comments on my blog. That’s something that make me sad. And worried. I was worried because even my best readers didn’t leave a comment (Paula are you ill?).
Then I thought about Akismet. Whoo 700 spam messages! I had to browse them all to discover that some “intelligent” comment where caught by it.
So if you want to leave a comment, don’t try to SEO-ize your title or you are risking to get caught by my spam filter.
Sometimes it’s funny to read spam. I don’t get why so many people try to send that dumb lists of links when 99% of Wordpress sites have set by default to review comments with more than 4-5 links. There is even some people who write simple stuff without links (or with links to google for example) and leave the spam link to the author’s link.
Anyway, if you left a comment but you can’t see it, sorry I deleted it together with theother 690 spam comments :(

Hey did this end up in the spam folder?
Maybe that’s why some WordPress blogs don’t give a confirmation that the comment got posted!

Not this one. But the other one you wrote with a similar subject was rejected. I found it under a pile of Viagra comments :-)

Akismet is such a lifesaver, I’ve had a few spam comments slip through but out of 1,600+ that’s pretty amazing.
