Blogger Research: number of sites
By maurizio | August 11, 2007
My research is getting bigger every day. I have now 113711 sites and I still need to browse 35000 of them.
I will finish them probably before the end of the week. I need new site to browse or something else to search on them. I will probably try to build relationships links between sites to see if I can draw a web between all those sites. I have some information to do that, but it will take ages to fetch them, so I probably have to find out the relations by guessing using the information I read on the site themselves. I think I can probably start to get keywords from sites too, but I need some expert advice about how to get them probably. If you know someone who can help me, please redirect him/them to me/my site.
What I really need now is a way to get more and more sites. 113000 sites aren’t enough IMHO. If you have a list of sites or if you want to share your bookmark with me, please do it. I could probably create a site where you can post sites, but I’m not sure it will be useful now. I just need to get url fast. I should probably parse some directory for that.
Or maybe I should start to parse my own 113000 sites for links. This is something I should probably do sooner or later, but I’m wondering how I can do that without wasting information here and there and I think it would be way more useful if I get sites from my readers. If I only had more readers.. :-)
