Listen to someone who succeded
By maurizio | August 14, 2007
It’s more than 6 months that I’m writing this blog and no one said anything about my subtitle.
I mean..read my stats…an average of 20 readers and I write “listen to someone who succeeded”…
No one asked me about my other possible successful project, or even if it was some shameless title to attract visitors.
The truth is that I don’t have other projects, at least not successful. And that’s not a shameless title.
That title is speaking about me. It’s not what you read that it’s speaking about me, but the way it has been written.
Read it.
Listen to someone who succeeded
What does it says? It says that you should/have to listen to someone who succeeded. It’s an advice. It doesn’t say that you have to listen to me because I am successful. It just says that, if you trust me, I am giving you the advice that you should find someone who succeeded and listen to him. Just that.
And that explain how does I write. And how I am. I am honest, I always tell the truth and speak always in a direct way. If I have to say “Do X and Y”, I’ll say that and not some other thing like “I heard people A that X is OK (Y maybe)”.If I say “I don’t like what you wrote there”, it doesn’t mean “I hate you!You are an Idiot!”.
Unfortunately 90% of the people around the world nowadays doesn’t really read what’s written, but try to read between the lines instead.I’ll do it too sometimes.I think I even speak between the lines sometimes, even if I don’t like it. People should be more honest and clear.
I hope you all start to read more carefully everything from now and don’t try to read (too much) between the lines. Note that this doesn’t mean that you don’t have to evaluate what you read.
ps. I will probably change that subtitle. I don’t like it anymore. If you have suggestions I’ll change it immediately.

…well, to be totally honest with you, I saw your subtitle, took a brief look around and thought ‘Why should I listen to you?’
It was only after read your explantion on this blog entry that I understood.
…so (maybe) changing the subtitle might be a good idea – not sure what to – but if you feel a need to explain what the subtitle means in your blog, then obviously the subtitle isn’t a good fit.
All the best whatever you choose to do.

When I first read the subtitle, I too have thought that you already succeeded to some standards and wishes to be heard, until I read this post.
I guess one of the interesting things about writing is that one presents to the readers what’s going on his mind.
The challenge lies in doing it in a way that the readers would view your thoughts in the exact same perspective on what you’re trying to convene.

Very well written, before you change the subtitle pls let us know your other success stories. I also agree that we often read between the lines and its not good :-)
What about the subtitle “Whatever happens, happens for Good”.

Thanks for the tip. I’ll put that on my list.
